Viadukt Rokytova on VMO (Great City Ring) City of Brno
Completed in 2024
The 1.5 km long Rokytova viaduct, which is part of the Great City Ring in Brno, bridges the Maloměřice railway yard, several city roads and military and private buildings. The viaduct with ramps is assembled of five expansion units with a complex geometry, one of which has a plan shape corresponding to the letter Δ. The bridges are continuous structures with span lengths ranging from 20.00 to 49.30 m. The bridge deck, which has a variable depth from 1.80 to 3.00 m, consists of two beams mutually connected by a deck slab. The ramps are form by spine beams. The viaduct was incrementally constructed span-by-span using a stationary scaffolding.
