The bridge is formed by an unsymmetrical strutted frame. The deck is assembled from two plate girders and a concrete deck slab. Since the footing of the inclined strut is connected with the end diaphragm by a concrete strut, the structure forms a self-anchored system that stresses the footings by vertical reactions only.
