Benicia–Martinez Bridge across the Sacramento River

Completed in 2007

The main bridge has a deck formed by a box girder of variable depth that has large overhangs stiffened by ribs. The bridge is assembled from three multi‑span frames connected by inside steel girders. The deck, made from lightweight concrete, was progressively cast in segments with lengths of 4.8 m.
