The southern connector of the city ring highway passes over the Vršovice switching yard on a cable-stayed bridge. Both directions of the highway are carried by a single bridge structure, which is formed by a single box girder assembled of a match cast segments and additionally cast overhangs supported by precast struts. The main span of length of 101.20 m is suspended on a single-column pylon located in the highway axis. The adjacent spans are supported by single-column supports. The box girder was erected in a progressive cantilever.
