D8 Motorway viaduct Mordova rokle

Completed in 2006

Viaduct Mordova Rokle, which crosses a deep valley, is formed by two parallel bridges of length of 527 m. The bridge decks are formed by spine girders with large overhangs. The girders, which have a variable depth from 1.40 m at midspan to 2.60 m at supports, were incrementally cast span-by-span in the formwork supported by an underslung movable scaffolding.
