D1 Motorway Viaduct over the Landslide Area near a Village of Visnove

Completed in 2024

The viaduct, which consists of two parallel bridges of lengths of 253.25 and 254.80 m, carries the motorway over a landslide area, a creek and a rural road. The six‑span bridges with span lengths from 34.50 to 100.18 m are made up of two structurally different parts. The first three spans, which are formed by precast beams and a composite deck slab, are continuously connected to a three‑span cast‑in‑place segmental box girder structure. The prefabricated beams are 2.00 m deep, the thickness of the composite slab is 0.275 m, the box girder has a variable depth from 2.70 to 5.20 m.
