D1 Motorway viaduct across the Ludina Creek

Completed in 2009

The viaduct, which consists of two parallel bridges of 10 spans, bridges the Ludina Creek and local roads. Both bridges, which are formed continuous beams of a double tee cross‑sections of a depth of 2.10 m, were incrementally constructed, span-by-span, on an underslung movable scaffolding. The decks´ diaphragms are only at the end abutments.
