The bridge on the D4 motorway spans the Skalice River, the railway and local roads. The concrete structure of a variable depth from of 2.60 to 4.50 m forms of a continuous girder of nine spans. The bridge carries both directions of the motorway on a single bridge structure formed by a spine box girder with large overhangs. The deck was created incrementally, first the box girder was cast on a stationary scaffolding, then precast struts were suspended on the girder and the overhangs were gradually cast into the movable formwork supported by these struts. The motorway was built as a PPP project.
