Bridge across the Lodina Creek Valley

Completed in 2015

The bridge, which spans the Lodina Creek Valley, is formed by a spine box girder with large overhangs supported by precast struts. Since the girder is frame-connected with intermediate piers, the bridge forms a semi‑integral structural system. The superstructure was created gradually, first the spine box girder was cast, then the external struts were erected, and the overhangs were cast. The spine box girder was cast gradually, span by span in the formwork suspended on the overhead movable scaffolding.
