Bridge across the D52 Motorway near City of Rajhrad

Completed in 1996

The bridge is formed by a prestressed concrete deck supported by a steel arch. The bridge deck is assembled from edge beams and a deck slab; the arch, which is situated in the bridge longitudinal axis, is made of a steel pipe filled with concrete. The bridge deck is connected with the arch by steel struts. The arch and the rear concrete struts are fixed into common footings.
