Benicia–Martinez Bridge across the Sacramento River

Completed in 2007

The main bridge has a deck formed by a box girder of variable depth that has large overhangs stiffened by ribs. The bridge is assembled from three multi-span frames connected by inside steel girders. The deck, made from lightweight concrete, was progressively cast in segments with lengths of 4.8 m.
