Viaduct Zlate Moravce

Completed in 2011

The 273 m long viaduct consists of two parallel bridges of 7 spans. The bridge, which spans the local road and the Olichovský Creek Valley, has a double tee deck of a variable depth - from 1.90 m at mid-span to 2.60 m above supports. Longitudinal beams are indirectly supported by support diaphragms hinged with slender piers. The bridge deck was cast gradually, span by span, in the formwork suspended on the overhead movable scaffolding. Since the bearings are located only on the end abutments, the bridge forms an economical semi‑integral structural system.
