Pedestrian bridge across the Bauerova street in Brno – Riviera

The bridge connects the multi‑functional hall ARENA BRNO, which is being built in the campus of the Brno Fair, with the aquapark Riviera. The bridge consists of a plan curved spine girder with large overhangs reinforced by transverse ribs. The girder, which is supported by narrow columns, has a variable depth 0.90 m at mid‑span to 1.70 m above supports in the span bridging the Bauerova street. In the other spans it has a constant dept of 0.90 m. In the central part of the structure, the beam is frame or hinge connected with the columns, in the outer spans it is supported by a single bearing; in torsion it is fixed at the end abutments.
